It looks like IBM is looking to layoff massive amounts of people this year. Massive. They've started already and are reported to be looking to layoff some 100,000 by years end. Their plan is to offshore all those jobs.
That sound you hear is IBM's stock which is going to go on a wild ride as it skyrockets before plunging full force into the ground. Arguably one of the greatest companies of the last century apparently isn't planning on surviving long in this one.
