I recieved an email calling for more government because China produces a lot of products that end up being recalled. Their solution? Increase inspections. I offer this solution. Underwriters Laboratories More than 100,000 product inspections in 2003 alone, UL tests and works to destroy every product given to them to inspect. Only safe products get the UL listing, as their name is extremely important to this 110 year old organization.
Did I mention that UL is a non-profit? All this work done for the safety of Americans (and elsewhere) and all without taking a cent from the unwilling.
