Some quick lessons learned last night while in the mountains...
If you forget eating utensils, ones can be fashioned from your firewood.
My camera can not see stars, no matter how long the exposure is.
You will never lack for kindling as long as there are pine/fir trees around.
It is always, always, always cold at night at 9000 feet.
