This is a pretty cool story. A 4 year old who is deaf in one ear and poor hearing in the other ear decides that he won't wear his hearing aid anymore because, well, "superheros don't have hearing aids." His mom wrote to Marvel and they sent back 1980s comics with Hawkeye, who used a hearing aid at that time, and they also created a comic for the boy "Hawkeye and the Blue Ear".
